Donald (1885-1942) was a son of Donald Mackenzie and Rachael Macdonald, 12 Hacklete. He served with the Royal Naval Reserve in the First World War.
In 1911, he married Henrietta Macleod, 15 Lower Bayble, Point. Donald and Henrietta lived at 12 Hacklete, Bernera where they had two of their four children. The family moved to 15 Lower Bayble as Cottars and later moved to 62 Lower Bayble.
Donald was widowed in 1936 and in 1937 he married Catherine Buchanan, 27 Upper Bayble. Donald and Catherine had two children.
