Kennethina (1892-1973) was a daughter of Ranald Mackinnon and Flora Montgomery, 14 Havelock Court, Stornoway. She was born at the maternal croft at 2 Garyvard.
In 1910, aged 19, she emigrated to Canada, on the SS Pretorian heading for Quebec. Kennethina was in Saskatchewan in 1911 and in Nelson, British Columbia in 1912 when she married divorcè Sven Johan Anderson a Swedish immigrant. In 1915 the family moved to Montana where where their daughter, Katherine Mary died and Catherine Mary was born. The couple were divorced and the two children remained with their father who put them up for adoption.
In Montana, in 1918, she married Ira Cutler from Montana. The couple had four children.
Kennethina was widowed in 1967.
