Mary (1883-1962) was a daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Ann Matheson, 48 Leurbost.

She emigrated to New Zealand in the 1900s and in 1911, at Hastings, she married George William Thow, Hastings. Mary and George had at least four children and seem to have moved between North Island and South Island.

Mary died in hospital in Auckland and she and George are buried in Mangere Lawn Cemetery, Auckland.
