At Edinburgh, in 1926, she married Donald Matheson, Kershader Schoolhouse and formerly of 26 Gravir. Christina Mary and Donald live at Kershader Schoolhouse. When Donald became Head Teacher at Sandwick School, the couple moved to Stornoway.
