Donald (c1685-c1760) was a son of John Macleod, Tackman of Hacklete and Unknown Matheson.

He married Christina Macaulay from Brenish. Donald and Christina lived at Hacklete and moved to Lochs. Their first child was born in  Eishken and the other four children in Balallan.
