Margaret Smith (1873-1937) was a daughter of Malcolm Smith and Mary Mackay, 2 Earshader.

In 1907 she married Donald Macdonald,15 Kirkibost. The couple lived at 15 Kirkibost and had no children.

When her husband died the tenancy of the croft was passed to her, then to her brother, Murdo John.
