7658: Donald Macdonald
Donald (born 1873) was a son of Kenneth Macdonald and Christina Macdonald, Bosta. When Kirkibost was re-settled in 1878 the family moved to15 Kirkibost, Donald was a fisherman and owned the Cres SY419. He inherited the croft at 15 Kirkibost.
In 1907 he married Margaret Smith from 2 Earshader. The couple lived at 15 Kirkibost and they had no children.
Donald served in the Royal Naval Reserve in the First World War.
