Catherine (1811-1900) was a daughter of Norman Matheson and Christina Macritchie, 11 Old Carnish.
In 1831 she married John Matheson, 3 Aird Uig and formerly of Reef. Catherine and John lived at 3 Aird Uig and they had eleven children.
Catherine was widowed in 1878.
