Caitrìona Choinnich
Catherine (1816-1886) was a daughter of Kenneth Stewwart, a tacksman in Hacklete and his wife Mary Smith. The family lived at Hacklete Farm.
In the Parish of Uig, in 1836, she married John Macdonald 'an Domhnallach, Little Bernera. Catherine and John settled at Kyles House Tigh a Chaolas where they raised ten of a family.
Catherine was widowed in 1880.
