Calum Ruairidh Chaluim
Malcolm (born 1856) was a son of Roderick Macdonald and Sophie Macritchie, 18 Laxay. His father died in 1857 and he and his mother moved to the maternal croft at 9 Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1884, he married Christy Ferguson, 3 Lemreway. Malcolm and Christy settled at 9 Gravir where they had three of their six children. The family moved in the 1890s to 51 Balfour Street, Maryhill, Glasgow.
