2111: Farquhar Smith
Fearchar Dhonnchaidh
Farquhar (1764-1849) was a son of Duncan Smith and Catherine Maclennan. He was married to Margaret Macdonald from Enaclete and had six children that we know of.
According to the Rent Roll 1807, Farquhar Smith and his father Duncan rented Drovinish for £36, this would probably have included Strome.
Farquhar's date of death is known from his son Peter Smith's testimony for the Boundary Dispute, 16th Aug1850 (p 82).
