In 1889, at Balallan, she married widower, John Morrison, Smithy Cottage, Tarbert Harris. Marion and John lived at Smithy Cottage and they had five children.

The couple owned a tearoom in Tarbert.

Marion was widowed and moved to Brae Cottage, Tarbert.
