Janet (1860-1911) was a daughter of Roderick Martin and Mary Morrison, 21b Balallan. The family moved to Crobeg Farm in the late 1870s.
In Crobeg, in 1877, she married Malcolm Macleod, 20 Balallan. Janet and Malcolm settled at 20a Balallan and they had nine children.
