Roderick Angus (1887-1957) was a son of Malcolm Macleod and Janet Martin, 20a Balallan. He went to Patagonia in 1910.
He returned to Lewis and at Blythswood, Glasgow, in 1939, he married Annabel Mackay, 3 Habost. Roderick and Annabella lived at 26 Balallan where Roderick ran a butchers business. Roderick's brother, John lived with the couple.
