Iain Iain
John (1818-1872) was a son of John Macleod and Catherine Macaulay, 18 Cromore.
In Lochs, in 1839, he married Christy Smith, 24 Cromore. John and Christy initially lived with a Mrs Isabella Kennedy at Cromore and John was the tenant. in 1851 they were living in a croft in Cromore and later settled at 24 Cromore. The couple had eleven children.
