Donald (1810-1891) was a son of Murdo Mackenzie and Christina Maciver, 46 Balallan.
In Lochs, in 1835, he married Mary Mackinnon, 43 Balallan. Donald and Mary settled at 66 Balallan and they had seven children. In 1860 the family moved to 7 Garyvard.
Donald was widowed in 1872 and the family moved to 52 Keith Street, Stornoway.
