Domhnall Aonghais Mhurchaidh
Donald (1840-1914) was a son of Angus Smith and Henrietta Macdonald from Vuia Mhor, Isle of Lewis. The family emigrated to Canada in 1841, settling in Winslow, Quebec.
In 1865 he married Mary Macrae from Whitton, Quebec and formerly of 34 Back. Donald and Mary and settled in Compton County, Quebec and they had seven children.
Donald was widowed in 1885.
