Angus (born c1802) was a son of John Macleod and Jane Macleod, 31 Valtos. He was a shopkeeper/merchant and he may also have been the first tenant of No 39 Cliff.
At Uig, in 1836, he married Chirsty Macleod from Bragar. Angus and Chirsty lived at 31 Valtos and they raised six children.
