Murdo (1872-1959) was a son of Donald Morrison and Marion Mackinnon, 41a Balallan. He went to Punta Arenas in Chile before returning to Lewis. Murdo worked as a gamekeeper on Aline Estate and Mulhaggery on the Eishken Estate
At Seaforth Head, in 1903, he married Margaret Mackenzie, 13 Arivruach. Murdo and Margaret lived at Eishken and they had son, Murdo.
Donald was widowed in 1906 and at Valtos, Lochs, in 1916, he married Christina Ferguson, 12 Habost. Murdo and Christina had five children at Eishken and in1933 the family moved to 41a Balallan.
