68480: Hugh Macleod
Hugh (born 1882) was a son of Malcolm Macleod and Betsy Macleod, 8 Kirvick. Hugh set off to Greenock on board a vessel sailing from Loch Carloway to learn a trade. He spent some time in Canada and also served in France during the First World War.
He married Marion Mackenzie, 24 Doune Carloway, Hugh and Marion settled at 24 Doune Carloway and they had six children.
