Magaidh Lachlainn Iain

Margaret (born 1870) was the eldest child of Lachlan MacKillop and Ann MacLeod of 6 Ruisgarry. The family later moved to 2 Borve. She was a weaver.

At Edinburgh, in 1904, Margaret married John Elliot from Hawick. Margaret and John lived at Hawick and they had at least two children.

She is one of the sisters of John MacKillop referred to in the poem Litir gu Seonaidh Lachlainn by Malcolm MacAskill, published in Orain Chaluim.
