91173: Mary Maciver

Mary Maciver (1870-1942) was the daughter of Murdo Maciver and Christina Macdonald. The address at the time of her birth is not known.

Mary’s mother died in 1872 and her father remarried; father and daughter settled with his new wife, Isabella Macleod, as cottars at 19 North Tolsta. In 1882 Mary’s father inherited 19c North Tolsta and in due course this passed to Mary.

Mary’s first marriage was to Murdo Maciver of 11 North Tolsta and the couple settled at 19c North Tolsta and had two children. Mary was widowed in 1895.

Mary’s second marriage was to Donald Campbell of 7 North Tolsta. The couple settled at 19c North Tolsta and had two children. Mary was widowed in 1919.

Upon Mary’s death 19c North Tolsta passed to her nephew, Murdo Murray.
