Margaret (1879-1970) was the daughter of Alex Nicolson and Catherine Graham of 9 North Tolsta.

In 1906, she married William Macdonald of 48 North Tolsta. Margaret and William settled at 48 North Tolsta and they had eight children (four boys and four girls).

Margaret was widowed in 1966.
