91322: Ann Macdonald

Ann (1831-1906) was the daughter of John Macdonald and Christina Macleod of 27 Old South Tolsta. In 1852, at the Melbost Mission House, she married William Finlayson of 20 Coll. The address where the couple had their first two children is not known, but in 1857 they obtained 57 North Tolsta and they had their last six children there. They had eight children in total (four boys and four girls). In 1873, Ann’s parent’s croft, 10 North Tolsta was passed to William and the family moved there.
