91813: Mary Macleod
Mary (1842-1913) was the daughter of Roderick Macleod and Margaret Smith of 20 Old South Tolsta.
During the 1851 croft relottings the family obtained 20 North Tolsta.
Mary married Donald Macleod of 34 North Tolsta and the couple settled there as cottars. They had seven children: three boys and four girls.
Their daughter Mary Anne’s first child lived with the couple.
In due course the house passed to their eldest son William.
