John (1853-1927) was the son of John Morrison and Isabella Macleod, of 31 North Tolsta.
John married Isabella Macleod, of 30 Back, and the couple settled at 31 North Tolsta. They had nine children: four girls and five boys.
In due course 31 North Tolsta passed to their youngest son, Murdo.
