95124: Mary Martin
Mary (born 1825) was the daughter of Donald Martin and Mary Macdonald; it is not certain where the family were living at the time of her birth. Her father had links Harris, Adroil and Melbost and her mother was from Ness.
In 1830, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 13 Old North Tolsta.
Her father died around 1840, and her mother went on to marry Alexander Murray. She gained two half brothers from this marriage.
In 1853 the family emigrated to Canada and settled in Huron Township, Bruce County Ontario.
