95322: Henrietta Murray

Henrietta (1829-1912) was the daughter of John Murray and Catherine Morrison; it is not certain where the family were living at the time of her birth.

By 1833 the family were living at 15 Old Back.

In 1851 her parents obtained 9 Back.

Henrietta married Donald Mackenzie, of 46 Back, and the couple settled at 46 Back. They had seven children: Catherine, John, Donald, Margaret, Alexander, Christina and Alexander.

Henrietta was widowed in 1878.

In due course their daughters Christina and Catherine settled on 46 Back as a cottars, but 46 Back eventually passed to their son Donald.
