George (1821-1897) was the son of Murdo Macdonald and Catherine Stewart of 11 Old Coll. In 1851, during the croft re-lotting, the family obtained 29 Coll.
He married Ann Macleod of 17 Tong. George and Ann settled at 4 Coll and they had six children.
