99800: John Maciver
John (1791-1868) was the son of John Maciver and Ann Macaskill of Nether Barvas.
In 1813 he married Ann Murray, of Nether Barvas, and the couple had two daughters. He was widowed.
In 1817 he married Christina Matheson, of Carishader Uig, and moved to 5 Brue where they had a family of two sons and seven daughters. John died at 5 Brue in 1868 and is buried in Barvas.
