Christina (1795-1871) was a daughter of Norman Matheson and Catherine Macleod, Carishader, Uig.

In 1817 she married John Maciver of Nether Barvas. Christina and John lived at  5 Brue and they had nine children.

Christina was widowed in 1868 . The couple are buried in Barvas.
