105931: 12 Old South Tolsta
12 Old South Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1830and the first occupants were Angus Smith, Ann Mackinnon and probably several of their adult children including: John and Kenneth. In due course 12 Old South Tolsta passed to John.
John Smith was married to Mary Macleod of Gress Tack and they had no children. In the 1851 croft re-lotting they became cottars in Tolsta, possibly at 55 North Tolsta on the croft of John's younger brother, Kenneth.
