The first tenant of this croft was Murdo Macrae Murchadh Dhòmhnaill Alasdair, Murchadh MacAnndrais, 3 Habost who had originally came from Kintail. His sons, Roderick (1854-1935) and Murdo (1864-1953) Murchadh Mhurchaidh ic Anndrais settled on 6 Habost. Roderick later moved to Back of Wall Habost.
