1589: 11 Habost, Lochs

11 Tabost, Na Lochan

The crofts at 9, 10, 11 and 12 Habost are believed to have been part of Duncan Maclennan's tack (see Habost), and may have been lotted later than the rest of the village.

The first tenant of 11 Habost was Hector Macleod (1809-1890) Eachainn Dhòmhnaill Ian, Eachainn Dhòmhnaill Ruaidh Mor from 4 Kershader. The croft was passed to his son, John Macleod (1843-1923)  and he passed it to his son, John Macleod (born 1881) Iain Iain Eachainn. 

The last tenant was John Angus Macleod (born 1923) Seonaidh Angie Iain son of John (born) 1881.
