2 Cromor
After the village was lotted, 2 Cromore was first tenanted by Finlay Smith (born 1813) Fionnlagh Louis Phàdruig. When he was lost at sea, his widow moved to Cailean Thearlaich, the area of croft at 25 or 26 Cromore.
2 Cromore was obtained by John Macarthur (1826-1891) Iain Aonghais Iain of 20 Cromore, originally of Bernera or Carloway. He passed the croft to his son Donald Macarthur (1868-1929) Dòmhnall Iain Aonghais from his second marriage to Isabella Maciver. Donald passed 2 Cromore to his youngest son, Angus Macarthur (1909-1974) Aonghas Dhòmhnaill Iain.
