Gormelia (born 1816) was a daughter of John Macleod and Catherine Macaulay, 18 Cromore.
In Lochs, in 1845, she married Finlay Smith, 19 Marvig. Gormelia and Finlay settled at 2 Cromore and they had two children.
Finlay was lost at sea and by 1861 Gormelia was living at Cailean Thearlaich, the area by 25 or 26 Cromore.
