Isabella (born 1839) was the daughter of Angus Macarthur and Isabella Macaulay, 13 Old Borrowston. She was Baptized on 25 October 1842 with her sister, Henrietta.
In 1850 the family moved to 2a Borrowston and in 1851 emigrated to Canada. They settled at Huron County, Ontario and Isabella married Hugh Archer from Ontario. Isabella was widowed and later married David Mackenzie from Ontario.
