Alasdair Aonghais

Alexander (1818-1892) was the son of Angus Macdonald and Christina Martin. In 1833 his parents obtained 24 Old Back. Alexander settled there with them and married Christina Thomson, of Coll. Alexander and Christina had six children.

In 1858 the family obtained 42 Back.
