116417: Roderick Morrison

Ruaraidh Sheorais Sheorais

Roderick (1825-1895) was the son of George Morrison and Christina Beaton. In 1835 the family obtained 34 Old Back as a newly lotted croft.

Roderick married Isabella Macleod of 38 Back. By 1858 his mother had obtained 52 Back and the family settled there with her. Roderick and Isabella had four children.

In 1863 the family emigrated to Canada with his mother. They settled in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
