116418: Isabella Macleod

Isabella (born 1824) was the daughter of Alexander Macleod and Christina Macleod. In 1833 the family obtained 5 Old Back and in 1858 they obtained 38 Back.

Isabella married Roderick Morrison, 34 Old Back. In 1858 her mother-in-law obtained 52 Back, as a newly lotted croft, and the family settled there with her. The couple had five children and in 1863 the family emigrated to Canada with her mother-in-law and they settled in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
