116935: Ann Maclean
Ann Maclean lived in Gress Tack and in 1809 she married Angus Murray of Aird. Ann and Angus had their first child in Coll in 1810. Their second child was born in Glen Dibadale in 1826. It is not clear where their third child, Kenneth, was born.
In 1845 the family settled in Aird Tong. The family obtained 12 Tong and settled there.
In 1850 they exchanged crofts with Donald Mackenzie, of 13 Tong.
Sometime after she was widowed Ann split 13 Tong and retained a part she named 11 Tong. The other section named 13 Tong was passed to widow, Kirsty Macaulay.
In 1858 Ann exchanged crofts with her son-in-law, John Macleod at 12 Tong, but the pair kept their existing croft numbers.
