Jessie (born 1891) was the daughter of John Ferguson and Catherine Macdonald, cottars at 53 Back.

The family moved to am Poileagan and the feu there later became known as 42 Back.

Jessie married Donald Maclennan of 4 Coll. The couple settled at 42 Back and they had six children, five boys and a girl.
