Ruaraidh Mhurchaidh Choinnich
Roderick (1909-1986) was a son of Murdo Macleod and Mary Macleod, 4 Garyvard.
The family emigrated to Canada in 1912 arriving at St John, New Brunswick. They moved to Calgary, Alberta and returned to Scotland a few years later.
In 1921 the family were all living at 4 Garvard and in 1923 his father returned to Canada. On May 17, 1924 the family sailed on the SS Canada from Stornoway to Quebec. In 1926 they were all living in Calgary.
He married Evelyn Blanche Macrae from Charlottetown, Queens, Prince Edward Island. Roderick and Evelyn Blanche settled in Charlottetown and they had a family.
The couple are buried at Sherwood Cemetery, Charlottetown.
