Angus (1877-1928) was a son of Murdoch Maciver and Anne Macmillan, Lingwick, Quebec the family settled on a farm between Gould and Scotstown for a short time and later moved to Fisher Hill, Gould, Lingwick.

In 1909, in Arizona, he married Ethel Josephine Freeman. Angus and Ethel lived in Arizona and they had three children.
