Iain Louis Mhurchaidh Aonghais
John Louis (1878-1928) was a son of Murdoch Maciver and Anne Macmillan, Lingwick Quebec. The family settled on a farm between Gould and Scotstown for a short time and later moved to Fisher Hill, Gould, Lingwick.
In 1907, in Arizona, he married Agnes Welsh. The couple lived in Arizona and they had at least two children. The family later moved to California.
John Louis died aged 67 of Lung Disease connected with his work in the Mining Industry.
