Murdo (1850-1930) was from the Isle of Lewis and his father was from Callanish. He emigrated to Canada and settled in Scotstown, Quebec.
He married Marion Macdonald from Winslow, Quebec and formerly of 13 Arivruach. Murdo and Marion settled in Scotstown and they had eleven children.
Murdo was widowed in 1928 and the couple are buried together in Scotstown.
