Murdo (1782-1867) was a son of Malcolm Macdonald and Christina Macleod, Druim a Gharraidh, Hacklete.
He married Catherine Smith. The couple lived at Druim a Gharraidh and they had a family. When Hacklete was cleared in 1851 this family relocated to 5 Crulivig.
