Colin (1873-1937) was a son of Hector Macaulay and Margaret Macdonald, 11 Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1914, he married Margaret Macdonald, daughter of Murdo Macdonald, Stornoway. She was the district nurse in Gravir. Colin and Margaret settled at 11 Gravir and later moved to Stornoway.
The couple had no children.
