45898: Flora Macleod

Flora (1908-1998) was a daughter of Malcolm Macleod and Mary Ann Kennedy, 17 Balallan.

In 1933 she emigrated to Canada and worked as Housekeeper in a private house. In 1944, at Smith Township, Peterborough, Ontario she married Angus Maciver formerly of 17 Shulishader. They settled at Niagara Falls where Angus worked as a Power Station Superintendent. Angus and Flora had two daughters in Canada.

In the early 1950s the family returned to Lewis and settled at 17b Shulishader which Angus had inherited. They started a small business which became Point Dairy.

Flora was widowed in 1985.
