Catherine (born 1856) was a daughter of Murdo Macleod and Annabella Smith, 18 Cromore.
In Lochs, in 1875, she married Alexander Maciver, 26 Leurbost. Catherine and Alexander settled at 18 Cromore and they had three children. Catherine was widowed in 1881, when Alexander drowned.
At Stornoway, in 1882, she married Donald Macleod, 8 Calbost. Catherine and Donald settled at 18 Cromore and they had six children.
